Island of the Day Before

Roberta Della Griva is stuck on the shop Amaryllis looking at an island across the international Date Line. He boards the abandoned Daphne. He can’t make it to the island because it’s stuck in yesterday. He finds Father Wanderdrossel in a cabinet. Father goes towards the island, but doesn’t return. He invents an evil twin, Ferrante. The book ends with him still there.
